If elected, what are your plans for office?
I will be a strong advocate for the perspective of retired dietitians on HOD issues related to the ADA Strategic Plan. I will fully communicate to retired dietitians issues facing our organization. I will be an active participant in all HOD activities including committee assignments and any additional responsibilities.
Give an example of how you successfully led a team to accomplish an objective/goal.
I provided leadership to a management team during a six-year department-wide renovation for a 1,000 bed acute care hospital. I worked closely with hospital administration, design consultants, architects, construction managers and many skilled tradesmen to facilitate each phase of the renovation. This involved moving employees to new work areas and making major adjustments in their daily work flow. This was a challenge but very fulfilling. During the same six-year period, patient satisfaction ratings increased from 35% to 95%.
Describe your most fulfilling leadership experience.
See above.
Identify 3 of your strengths/skills that make you an ideal candidate.
